<p>Hey everyone,
I am a new member so please forgive my inexperience with certain terms or subjects in this forum. I am currently a junior in my high school in dubai, and I am planning on which universities to apply “on the other side of the ocean.” Back in my motherland, Italy, the first university/ college that comes into every individual’s minds when thinking about the United States is Harvard, and being one of those individuals, it is my greatest dream to be admitted there. I was reading various posts about life at Harvard for newcomers, but all seemed oriented towards a American students or students who lived in the States for a long time. I was wondering as an Italian how I would integrate at Harvard, or any other Ivy/ high ranking university. I am one of school’s top students, I love having a good time with my friends (whether it is a rave back in Europe or simply playing some x-box at someone’s house), I always dress in a substantially flashy yet somewhat preppy way (skinny, branded suits for the majority of the time, just like any stereotyped mobster 
), and am quite right-oriented when it comes to political opinions. Would Harvard, or any American university in general, be a good fit for me?
