Can anyone here look at this and tell me if they think it is worth the price ($700)? I need/want to know the subject matter, and, travel schedule over the next several months isn’t going to permit sitting in a traditional classroom, but, I am wondering if it’s a decent value for the price, mostly because I note the instructor is not a professor but rather he appears to be a lawyer in private practice (although this may be a benefit for this particular topic)…

Thanks in advance for any opinions…

lts, I came across these reviews on the instructor. I can’t speak to the cost, but as far as the instructor is concerned, I’d say go for it!!

Scansmom, thanks for that (how did you find it) - should I be concerned that these reviews appear to be connected to University of Phoenix? And that they’re from 2003?

I’m totally o.k. with spending the money, if the course is of acceptable quality…but I don’t want to enroll in a course if I can buy a book for $100, read it, and get to the same place.

googled his name, without the middle initial ;)

Like you I’d probably be more inclined to start with a book and as I have not taken any online courses before it is hard to know how much more you might get from them than you would from just reading a book on your own; maybe purchase the text for this course first and then decide if it is worth it to enroll?
