Intellectual Vitality Essay (Not looking for readers)!

Okay, so, as the title says, I’m looking not looking for ppl to read my essay. Rather, I’m looking for suggestions.

I’ve written it on one of my math classes with a math teacher who was 67 at the time and taught his last year with my class. He was kind of a crap teacher (though I don’t explicitly say this/blame him in the essay), but I talk about one day when he told us why he chose a career in mathematics, science, etc.

Does this sound like an interesting topic? I later explain how his “speech” sparked my interest in engineering and, eventually, Biomechanical Engineering, which I’d like to study at Stanford.

If you’re passionate about this and if it’s really important to you, go ahead. From what I’ve heard, you’re free to write about pretty much everything.

Sorry if my explanation was a little too ambiguous … but that’s college admissions. We have no idea what Stanford is looking for other than “passion”
