Hello, besides GPA I know its a holistic review so the admissions takes into account extra curriculars as well as volunteering and it would be fine if I could have some places and ideas of extra curriculars and places/things I can do where I can volunteer? Also what are some organizations and programs that could help me say I have leadership qualities? Thank you
You’re a Biology major, correct? Try to join clubs that are relevant to your major or career path. That would help. Otherwise, just join whatever clubs you would like. Your priority should be GPA, but it’s often good to get involved on campus. I’m in my school’s philosophy club and chess club, and I also work. You don’t necessarily need to have leadership qualities, just show that you are involved in various things. Even that isn’t a necessity, though - do what you can manage.
You can volunteer just about anywhere. SPCA would be at the top of my list.
