<p>Is anyone majoring in this program? Right now I’m enrolled in Microbiology & Immunology (and I’m a transfer student entering U1)… and I’m a little overwhelmed because I’m planning on taking 18 credits in the Fall semester! This is because I’m taking all of the required courses for my program… plus Physiology 209 and 210.
I noticed that if I switched to Interdepartmental Immunology I wouldn’t have to take this lab course (MIMM 212) which would really be a load off my shoulders.
And I also noticed that you can a wider variety of courses (Physiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry) in your upper years if you’re majoring in this program.
Does anyone happen to know anything about the differences between these two programs (i.e. is one more demanding than the other?) and whether or not I can just drop MIMM 212 in hopes that I can transfer to the Interdeparmtnetal Immunlogy program later on?</p>
