<p>I just heard that the person who found the threatening note in the plane WC was…a BBC reporter! My journalist-fakes-a-story meter gave a loud squawk and fell over. </p>
<p>Anyone care to take a small bet that we subsequently find out that she planted it herself?</p>
<p>Maybe I’ve become unduly cynical.</p>
<p>I really hope that’s not true. The efforts of so many people would be wasted just to get someone’s name on a byline.</p>
<p>If I turn out to be wrong and you’re right, I’ll run naked through the Parent Cafe. Oh – and I should tell you – my best years are behind me.</p>
