Hi all! I guess this is kind of like a chance thread but I’d particularly like to focus on a certain EC I’m involved in. I am involved in public policy for a particular organization I am EXTREMELY passionate about and plan on acting as a lobbyist in Congress in the upcoming months in hopes of gaining Congressional support to pass legislation for this organization. Considering all my other credentials are up to par with other applicants (2200 SAT, 3.95 GPA UWTD, 4.3+ WTD, Medical Research, Class President multiple years, part time job, other volunteer work/clubs/honors societies/etc.) how would this involvement in public policy look to schools like Stanford and ivies? I’m a rising senior so any word of advice/encouragement on the college process would be appreciated. Thank you! :)
