<p>Dropped D off at UTHC today and went to the parent meeting where the Director of Admissions spoke to the parents. Here are a few words of admission wisdom he shared.</p>
<p>If the student essay could be summed up in a bumper sticker it would be “Minds at work”</p>
<p>When asked what they look for in a student, his reply was one that has maximized their opportunities inside and outside of school.</p>
<p>When asked what is more important, ie, test scores, GPA, class rank, EC’s he commented that “one factor should never drive admission”</p>
<p>Just found it interesting.</p>
