Internal Transfer from Engineering to Business and Course Selection

The title pretty much says what most of this post is about… I’m currently a freshman in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and I honestly absolutely hate it. I am doing fine in my 2 other Classes (A and one A-) but I’m hovering at a C for EE 302, which will considerably lower my GPA. My plan for next semester is to take easier classes to raise my GPA. So far I have UGS, Calc 2, MicroEconomics, and General Engineering for Calculus. I need to take 16 hours to put me over the in-residence hour requirement, so I need one more 4 credit hour course. The only course I can really think of is Physics with a lab, yet I’ve already taken both engineering physics. Also… is 3.65-3.75 in engineering a competitive GPA to get into McCombs? I’ve read through the statistics and have seen the average (3.8) and minimum GPA(3.65), yet I’m curious as to whether or not they would cut engineers some slack due to the pretty tough course loads. Also, what are some easier courses that I could try to take? I know in college there aren’t very many “easy” courses per say, but I would like to know of some that are nice to the GPA so I can try to get it to be as high as possible for transferring into McCombs. I obviously cannot opt out of Micro and Calc 2 seeing as they’re prereqs for McCombs, but I’m not too concerned for those. My UGS and GE are attendance based. Basically, I need to find a hopefully easy 4 hour course to meet the hours requirement. If that is not possible, I could drop the GE and take two 3 hour courses instead, which would amount to 16 hours. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks
