International Acceptance Packages

does Yale send out acceptance packages to internationals through FedEx/DHL/UPS or snail mail? thanks

I would say that they send them FedEx/DHL/UPS or something similar, because I know that if you snail mail things to other countries, it can take over a month to get there!

Their admissions website says, “We will mail decision letters the next day, and these letters should arrive within a few days for applicants residing in the United States. (Applicants from abroad may find that the letters take considerably more time to arrive.)”

I’m guessing it could be a week or two, depending where in the world you live.

I guess you’re asking because you want to use the tracking method? Well, in case you’ve applied to Columbia, call DHL customer services.

In previous years, acceptances were sent by courier service (arriving quickly), waitlists, I don’t know, and rejections by regular int’l mail.
