International admission rate

What is the international admission rate? Thanks…

Michigan does not release such information. I’d say the standards for international students are no different from the standards for out of state students. Michigan may cut international some slack on the verbal section of standardized tests.

So what’s the admission rate for out of state students?

I know they admit lots of Singaporeans almost 80%… I’m not a one… I’m doing A levels, predicted 4 'A’s, decent shot?

You’ve got to give some other info about your self , like your grades/GPA , SAT scores , extracurriculars et al for us to chance you.

Based off my estimates for the accepted class of 2006, there were (where OOS means everyone outside of Michigan, or in other words out-of-state US and international) approximately: 67% OOS applicants, 42% OOS acceptance rate, 25% OOS yield.

42% at ann arbor? That’s pretty high for a top uni…

I’ll post my stats next time…

When do we have to reply the rolling admissions decision (for someone who’s accepted)?

May 1st …

Is it for most public unis inc wisconsin madison, illinois urbana, north carolina chapel hill?
If accepted, i can still apply SCEA to stanford right?

Its for nearly all universities.

Michigan has no admission scheme which binds you ,even through ER so yeah you can apply to Stanford.

Thanks a lot…

You can’t apply to UNC Early Action as Stanford is Single Choice.

Yea, not for chapel hill- i just found out yesterday

Can apply both ea at stanford and chapel hill because chapel hill is public non binding ea
