What colleges should I apply to assuming that I won’t apply for financial aid even it is offered to Internationals?

I was born in S. Korea and moved to U.S in 2005
My SAT score is 2160 superscored and 2100 one sitting.
GPA: 3.89 UW

I have couple of leadership positions in school
and numerous state awards in music and couple of internatioanal awards in documentary production.

I really liked to apply to HYPSM and couple of top notch schools but I’m just afraid that I’m just being quixotic…

Other than HYPSM, Im looking at UC-Berkeley, Northwestern, Duke, Rice, Boston College, New York University, University of Virginia and USC. and of course rolling admission at UW-Madison since I currently live in Wisconsin.

Can you guys please comment on schools I want to apply and maybe suggest “reasonable” schools to apply?

Thank You!

Are you a current senior or junior. What is your course load? SAT subject scores/AP scores?
Presuming they are all high and you present yourself well in your ECs, you have as much chance as anybody. But none of those are safety schools. Expand your list to less selective schools but in your score range to get some safety ones as well. School choice would depend on what location you prefer, size and intended major.

I’m currently a senior.
So, you do not think my score isn’t too low for those schools?
And can you maybe suggest few safety and reach schools as a business major?

Since you are in high school in the US, sit down with your guidance counselor, and get their advice. They know which colleges and universities have admitted students with your academic record from your high school in recent years. Being full-pay makes a big difference for an international applicant, and makes your odds of admission much more like those for a US applicant.
