International Baccalaureate (IB)

Theoretically speaking, would GW rescind an admitted student for low IB grades or not receiving the IB diploma altogether? Just curious. I’ve heard from some places that a university in the United States does not admit students based off IB predicted grades nor under the condition that they receive the IB diploma, as long as high school (in the United States) senior year second semester grades are still good, therefore they do not rescind you for whatever your IB results may be. I do know that IB grades could still be used for credits, though.
Anyone know for sure?
