International Business

I’m interested in pursuing the Master of Arts in International Business at UF.

Does anyone know if an undergraduate business degree is required for admission to MAIB or will a normal bachelors degree be acceptable? I’m planning on majoring in Economics through CLAS and possibly taking a language.

Is MAIB a good and respected program?

Thanks!

from the admissions req page @ [Degree Programs - Master of Arts: International Business (MAIB) - Warrington College of Business Administration](http://warrington.ufl.edu/academics/maib/eligibility.asp)

a CLAS econ degree would qualify.

i’m not sure about the placement for this program, but i’ve heard good things about it. its not a very specialized degree, but it had its purposes.

double post

I’m not sure the clas econ would qualify. when I was interested in it, I asked one of my friends who plans on doing it , and he seemed to be under the impression that just the business econ counts as a business degree, not the clas econ.
Why don’t you just do the business econ anyway? then you can do the combined degree program and start your master’s during senior year.
