International Financial Aid: Please help!

<p>Does LMU offer financial aid to international students? How much do they usually give?</p>

<p>The only scholarship that they offer that on face seems to even consider international students is the Arrupe Scholarship</p>

Arrupe Scholarship: </p>

<p>Named for Fr. Pedro Arrupe, the long time Superior General of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits) whose vision of Educating Men and Women for Others has become the hallmark of Jesuit education. The Arrupe Scholarship is competitive and award amounts vary. A minimum award of $12,500 annually, renewable for four years, will be awarded to Arrupe Scholarship recipients. </p>

<p>International Students who are considered for the Arrupe award compete with other students educated outside the USA in order to account for the variance in educational systems around the world. Scholarship award amounts may vary from the award amounts for domestic students and there is not a specific minimum award value.</p>

<p>Arrupe Scholarships are highly selective. Students considered normally present a GPA of at least 3.75 (unweighted academic) and a minimum SAT I score of 1350 (Critical Reading and Math) or an ACT of 30 or better.</p>

<p>Loyola Marymount does not give full financial aid to US citizens/permanent residents. On average, they only meet 67% of need. If you need a lot of aid to study at this school, it is highly unlikely that you are going to receive it.</p>
