<p>I think it really depends on what school you’re going to. At big Southern schools where legacies and recommendations are very important it could hurt you, because you don’t have access to those. At some schools it could be a huge plus to add some diversity. At the very least it’ll give you something interesting to talk about during Recruitment. </p>
<p>I would check out greekchat. Its a greek message board, they could probably help you out with more specific questions.</p>
<p>Honestly, just do the whole rush process and all and see what houses are interested in you. If it’s a large greek life system like Purdue’s then I’m sure you will find a house that will want you and will give you a bid. I don’t really think being an international student matters.</p>
