Can you pm me your essay? :] and what do you intend on majoring? =]

Scarlettrose, I PMed you my essays. I hope they help. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions!

Anyone at all, can someone please tell me why this thread is considered "trollish. " I mean how? Just because someone has a long list of credentials that doesn’t mean you berate them. Take it with pride knowing that the OP is simple a high-achieving individual and accordingly just give them what they’re asking for: a chance. There’s no room for jealousy here. All this name calling and implied sarcasm really ruins the point of college confidential. If you believe something that he’s said is wrong than sure point it out. There’s nothing wrong in that. But then stretching it to such limits as calling the admissions committee? That’s ridiculous. It’s the OP’s life and if he’s telling the truth he’ll get the rewards. If he’s lying he will get rejected. Karma anyone?

Grow up guys. If you have nothing productive or helpful to say then please, for heaven’s sake, please keep your moth shut.

I don’t mean this as an irate insult to anyone. I’m simply attempting to be pragmatic.

anyone who actually want to evaluate my updated application (which is what chance threads are usually for), please go to: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/harvard-university/1264407-harvard-international-applicant-rd-chances.html

if not, stop wasting my time, stop wasting your time on this thread.

Thank you nocensure for some sane words. I pmed you my response on J. Stiglitz’s ‘Freefall’. Much thanks to you for critiquing my essays.

@nocensure the funny part of this thread is that Koharvard doesn’t know what a ■■■■■ is.

I hope you didn’t list all that in your application. That is the definition of a laundry list. If you are truly competent, you don’t need to use a huge list like that to prove it. Just put the most important aspects, like the two or three most important things you have done in MUN. Honestly I really think extracurriculars are over emphasized in college admissions. I think essays and recommendations are more revealing than all of the activities you do because it’s hard for a list of things like that to have context.

Just saying , you’re only allowed one gmail account

nooo! revival of the thread again! :/

@KoHarvard,

Where did you end up my brother?

I am also a Korean -international student wondering about my chances for the Huntsman Program.

Please let me know!
