Yea, it is choice A.

I don’t want to go through 15 pages of discussion again now. It’s Sunday.
Maybe I’ll do it later in the evening.

He doesn’t concede that they should be paid, but that they should get something from the money. CB loves questions like this one. You go for an obvious answer and they mean sth more subtle. Meh. We’ll see on Oct 25th. I was aiming for 2400 this time, but obviously, that ain’t gonna happen. :(

and last question in the bat passage, people seemed “difficulty” because… I chose the human being can effortlessly see, is that right

Duffman, what’d you get last time you took it? (or however many times)?

I’m quite sure he doesn’t concede any other argument, he simply goes on to talk about how they should be getting a good education.

zhsh. i believe so, it’s the only one that make sense

Ok ColdFlame. When I think about it, you’re probably right. Last time, I got 2260 and this was my third SAT. I so didn’t want to do another one. :(

Guys … . the french painter; art critique passage & female inventors was a dummy…

Anyways, I just want to get this confirmed, was the Kennedy “had began” the space program question in the experimental? And there is consensus it was an “identifying error” question?

Was definitely an identifying error question, not sure if it was experimental

all right, anyone would rmb a SC which is about a Supreme Court retiring, I chose the exacting and demanding. what do you guys chose

^ it couldnt have been that because
the sentence was: …anything but…
the last adjective had to be smth like quiet or peaceful

oh, damn it!

Do anyone think i should cancel my score?I am a junior and this is my second time taking SAT
I took one last year at the beginning of 10th grade and only got 1800
I am aiming for2200+(I’ve achieve this score in mock tests)or even 2300+ but I was a little nervous in the actual exam and screw up a little

now I know my essay was probably going to score 8-9 because it’s only 1.5 page long ans the conclusion is weak. I got at least 4 CR wrong, (3 of them are sentence completion), I usaully do really good in CR:(

If this score don’t turn out well than I’m gonna get even more nervous at my third SAT test(since people usually don’t take more than 3 times) so I’m thinking about may be I should cancelling this one so that I feel less pressure in the following tests. Any advice?

It was quiescent and exacting

Do you think you can at least at above 2000? if true, i don’t think you should cancel your score cz it’s now October you should at least have a score better than 1800. Plus, you can still retake it.

coz i chose personification too…

@zhshzh44 the bat question was kinda weird. But I thought the metaphor meant that “we may never understand what its like” as the answer choice. also, “a human can effortlessly see” is not necessarily right. I think its “humans relate more with sighted animals.”

I think I can get 2000 but the biggest problems I’m facing when I was taking any big tests are nervousness and negligence…
next time would be my third time taking SAT and third time is usually the last time…
if I am retaking the test under I a lot of pressure, I’m just not gonna do well…

I’m pretty sure it was “humans can see more effortlessly” because it was all about how we don’t think animals can do things we can’t do. So we can see, so they must be able to see.

I’m pretty sure the question which was what is the purpose of the line “I’m not saying this as just some vague metaphor” was to reiterate the fact the person believed this was ACTUAL fact, not just a comparison

@miasanmia
That’s what I think:
the reason human doubt bat’s ability to use ecolacationis
human can not do that
so similarily the reason human don’t question why animal can see is because
human can effortless see
it’s not nessesarily because they “relate more with sighted animal”
