International SAT October 2012: Y U NO discuss?

Can anyone explain the question for the Sc. baleful and trepidation
I remember that the sentence is ---- for all but bravest for individual
A for all but B for invidual
A and B must be the opposite or the same word
But I see in the answer choice of the other question on the test and the choice is strenuous for all but strong for individual so I am so confused with this one because strenuous and strong are nearly the same words.

i dont rmb either, but i am pretty sure is striking. You could ask any else see if it is it.

The question with striking was something like “how did the author describe flamingo’s color”

hi, does anybody rmb the second to last question in the chinese painter passage. sth like what does the description mean? Those lines are about when she handed her painting to her husband. I chose those descriptions are the chinese painter’s own evaluation about the painting. Does that correct?

ye i got evaluation aimat750 u got a consolidate answers or can u set one im nervous wanna set approximate score

zhshzh44 maybe u got one?

@ critmaster

btw, anyone got november 2010 list or something cause this test is compeltely the same as that in november 2010?

what is the Oct test to do with 2010 Nov test?

I have a doubt regarding the question(difference between embroidery and drawing) with the choices ‘‘Focus more intensely on subjects’’ and ‘‘Easier to remedy a mistake.’’

After reading the passage once more, I get how it could be the latter. However, I feel this is somewhat a superficial choice(?). Reading the passage, I found that the main difference between embroidery and drawing was that the girl could express her self more through her drawings than she could through embroidery. Isn’t this synonymous with ‘‘Focus more intensely on subjects’’?

I’m not sure about this one, at all. Please give your opinions!

@ user22
I chose the latter because I can find sentences to support it. i dont rmb that exactly. But she clearly conveyed that when drawing she could draw at whim— if she stuck, just turned the page over and started another new one. However, I might miss the embroidery part…
