International SAT October 2012: Y U NO discuss?

@ zh44 its the same test as november 2010 u can see thread of that

@ critmaster
same? all the cr or just several passages?

all the cr

though i didnt find a consolidated answer list there as well so im waiting for that. I wanna set approximate score

is the forum done i guess?

maybe, how is not anyone else hereh

still, are there any questions that we haven’t covered yet?

@zhshzh44
Have some doubt about the "studied,spontaneity"one…
I think “realistic,abstract” is better, but obviously not sure.

Are there some opinions?

@zhshzh44 yes, that’s why i think my answer could be wrong. The only problem with ‘‘focusing on subjects’’ was that it wasn’t supported a 100% by the text; i still have a hunch it could be the right answer, though.

Did anyone else select ‘‘Focusing more intensely on subject’’ as the answer for the question about why the girl preferred drawing over embroidery?

And does anyone know if the curve will be the same as the November 2010 test, or based on this test’s performance??

@User22
i also select ‘‘Focusing more intensely on subject’’, and that’s because i did not see the latter paragraph talking about erasing the drawing subjects…

but i do think there’s a chance that ‘‘Focusing more intensely on subject’’ is right, because i think the woman, without the threads, can better express her drawing ideas. The threads are just like fetters which disable her from focusing fully on the subjects. Maybe “easy to erase” also implies that she can better focus on her drawing (subjects)…

Want your opinions…

@jianghuchun1412
yeah£¬I chose realistic and abstract too. but it is wrong if you reread the passage£¬finding that she drew the painting spontaneously — she just thought the orchid and boo there’s on the paper

Did anyone get compassion? (For the piano one).

no, that should be admiration

Allright jianghuchuan1412; did anyone else choose ‘‘Focusing more intensely on subjects’’?
And any idea about how the curve will be determined?

no ideas and we dont even have consolidated list can anyone get it

cause there are still a lot of questions we havent covered

can everyone list the examples he/she used in the essay ‘‘the one about , do all people need to be creative’’’ ?

I used Edison and Steve Jobs.

I use henry ford and howard schultz. Btw anybody rmb the writing question with ‘for machiavellism,as for A and B,… instruction in the art of politics’.i’m btw ‘history was’ and ‘they saw history as’
