International SAT October 2012: Y U NO discuss?

is anyone rmb the sc question about chocolate? is it homonym or derivation?

I chose derivation

it is sth like xocolātl*( “bitter water”) and it made me confused btw homonym and derivation. :’(
can anyone explain?

I used Bush and Trail of Tears… I have a bad feeling I’m getting a 6 on this essay OTL Did you guys get venalent, phlegmatic, polymath and erudite for the correct vocab words? What was the reaction of the dinosaur guy as well? Did the kids bully him or did he misinterpret their teasing? Also why do I have no recollection of the first page’s math problems o.O I’m so worried nowww…

did anyone here choose “reveal their aversion for music” for the two brothers in the piano blues passage?
or a “supportive of her students” in the same one?

@zhshzh44
thx, i have to accept it’s the “spontaneity” one.

I don’t remember paranoia being part of the vocabulary.

paranoia is in the experimental section

@talatahehe

I went for “history was”, I think.

Keep it coming guys

@maxyend why do you think so?i choose ‘they saw’ but i don’t khow.google for ‘as for’ usage it says as for = with regard to.so how’s that?

i chose “supportive”. i wonder why u do not discuss that blues-boy passage///

@talatahehe, I’m really not sure anymore, I think it was because “as for bla, bla and bla, history was” works, whereas “as for bla, bla and bla, they saw” doesn’t work.

again, does anybody here remember the answer like"reveal their aversion to music" in the blues brother? the other choice was like"enforcing 2 diff approaches" or sth…

i chose the latter

@bonbongta
YEAH,MAYBE the latter is true,though i chose the former

Anyone remember What was the answers of 28 & 29 In The 25 mints writing section ??

Please?

Anyone remember What was the answers of 28 & 29 In The 25 mints writing section ??

and for number 1 in the same section it was Didn’t leave or haven’t left ?!

Please?

@ egyptianstudient
the first one is Didnt leave since the sentence goes like this ‘people didnt leave… until …’
have left, if put, would be awkward and does not fit with tense.

@zhshzh44
and how about 29?
