hey everybody so does anyone else remember other questions in the writing experimental besides the pyramid?

hi guys! do you guys happen to remember anything from the math grid ins?
i think i might have forgotten to bubble in the last five… even if i wrote the numbers on top, so i wanted to recall the answers and it could help :T

oh i heard the curve for CR is 700 (if you get 7 wrong).

No need to be sorry, that’s why we’re here: to discuss.
I remember painstaking attitude.
Women inventors: interject humor or confirm a point in the previous statement (women have been scientists all alkong blabla)? Don’t remember the second question.

so was the one about the french painter “exemplary skill” or “painstaking attitude?” :T

I’m sure it was “exemplary skill.” He also said “deft assurance” which is quick, not painstaking.

The point of the lines wasn’t to emphasise that the french artist was taking his time or being very meticulous but was about how he was so adroit at being able to draw so well

What was the answer for women invention question?
Was it ‘necessity is mother of invention.’?

i dont think the passage focused so much on his skill as much on the part with “assurance”. it seems too extreme and unjustified to be “exemplary skill”. painstaking attitude makes more sense

meticulous = painstaking
adroit at being able to draw so well = exempary skill
I don’t remember which one of these I chose. An exacter wording of the question, anyone? I must’ve brooded a bit over the two possibilities, since I remember them both clearly.

also there was an writing error id with “isabel allende… conventional woman…” etc etc. I said the error was D. “Is” should be “was”. I was very ambiguous about this one. anyone know this one?

Confirm ‘necessity is mother of invention.’

:( i think i’ll have to cancel mine…

wait there was passage on women inventors?? i didnt see that

@miasanmia i dont rmb that q, maybe it was dummy?

Yes, it was one of the short passages.
the two answers were ‘necessity is mother of invention.’ (which statement would the author most likely agree with?) and
inteject humor OR conform previous statement. (What is sentence XY used for?) Anyone remember this one?

holy **** i actually dont rmb that passage at all…maybe i accidently skipped a page…

there were total 4 short passages rite? could plz remind me what they were about if u rmbb ty!

@corrinder64 it was an error id question; second last writing section?

^or, it was in the experimental section.
It wasn’t writing. Writing questions don’t ask what would the author agree with.

ahahah ok so what was the short passage abt, just women inventors?

Yes. One sentence was like: who is more likely to have invented the loom: men who were out hunting all day or women. It might have been experimental. It’s unlikely that you’ve missed a whole passage. Which was the large text in this passage?

oh then yeah its probably experimental - never seen the word loom on test. did you have an extra cr section ?

^yes 4 CR sections.
