A friend of mine (from Asia) recently applied to the school of nursing at Pitt. A brief summary of the app includes a low SAT score due to some trouble with English, a very high GPA (at a U.S. high school) and class rank along with excellent teacher recommendations. I know that Pittsburgh does not receive many international applicants in comparison to other well regarded state schools (Illinois, Ohio State, PSU, SUNY schools, ect…), so would this possibly be an advantage in the admissions process? If anyone has any feedback or wants to give me an idea of my friends chances, please reply!!

Thanks!
