International Student ( Low GPA )

My re-admit application to Santa Monica College was denied, so they required me to complete a minimum of 12 units with a minimum grade point average of 2.0 at any US community college or university for 1 or 2 semesters.

My question is that if there are colleges or universities in Los Angeles that accept a transcript with a GPA below 2.0.

I’m kind of clueless of what to do in such a case.

Community colleges are generally “open admission” so you can apply there and repair your college record. Students do this all this time.
