So i was wondering if it would be okay for an international student to list their under the table work on the application under the work section (for UCs in my case but maybe it can apply to others as well). I was wondering this because I work ~30 hours a week and have been for more than a year, and obviously doing this makes it harder to have other extra curriculars on top of being a full time student(these bay area prices don’t help). So I was wondering if UCs care that we are technically working illegally because I’d like to show that I’m not just wasting my time doing nothing outside of school.
I wanted to clarify a little that this is for filling out the UC application for transfer as a junior. There is a part where you can list your volunteer experiencs, awards, work experience, and extra curriculars. I am specifically talking about listing my work experience as an international student and people’s opinions on whether that would be okay or not.
