Right. Currently, I’m studying in Manila. So I’m planning to study in Columbia this fall. I have a feeling my chances are very slim, honestly speaking. I’ve attended two colleges, and in my first college, my GPA was very low because I was having some personal problems. In my current college, however, I’ve spent one semester here and my GPA is currently at a 3.4. I’m hoping to pull it up to 3.5 or 3.6 by the time the next semester ends.

I know that they look at your extra curriculars, but my school is quite small and it’s still new so we don’t really have much going on. I’m part of a productions crew, though, so I don’t know if that’s going to count. I’m also not sure if they count anything from your high school, but I took my AS-Levels and was part of a varsity sports team for 4 years.

The thought of applying makes me really nervous, although I want to do it. They ask for all your high school and college transcripts, so do you guys think my high school achievements will do any good? Thanks!

it’s good to see you! I am not very sure but i think you should have gotten higher GPA for the university… or at least, you can study really hard this sem, and get high mid term grdades! because we are required to send the mid term grades. i also heard that having third language helps! i think it would be better if you take any standardized exam for chinese .
