International Student

How much harder is it for an international student to get admitted into med school (and a good one) in the states assuming stats are on par with the pool?

I’m completely fluent in english and will be attending an ivy for undergrad.

Significantly would be my guess from looking at the admissions numbers. Most schools only take a handful (ie countable with two hands) of internationals a year.

oh, and what about tuition costs and such? would it be different for internationals?

Is there anyway to obtain citizenship while doing undergrad? Just a thought

blitz:

You ought to do some research on your own. Asking about tuition costs and the path to US citizenship on a message board is probably not the best way to get information.

You’d be counted as an out of state student at state schools, so there you would be charged more. Private schools do not differentiate, so your tuition costs would remain the same.

Regarding citizenship, I wouldn’t expect to go from foreign citizenship to US citizenship in four years. You can check the US government websites to get more information about this.
