<p>Does being an international student give you any advantage when you’re applying to colleges?</p>
<p>I’m a US permanent resident from South Korea. Should i apply to Cambridge or Oxford? Would it be harder if I was a UK resident?</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure it’s near impossible to get into top UK colleges from north america. Basically Britain’s education system has 13 years of schooling before university and we have 12, so it’s super selective.</p>
