I’m an international student from Beijing,China, and i really want to get into MIT.Actually.it’s too early to consider my college.I’m not planning to get into any universities in China.I’ve been attracted by MIT since i was ten(till then,MIT is my dream school).I’m 14 now and my scores are great.I want to be an IMO gold medalist(my friends around me say it’s the top of the world)
Please give me some advice,no matter you are an American student or,just like me,an international student.I believe one day i can stand on the top of the world.
I wish all of you can get into your dream school.

Hi! I’am an international too, There is just one advice that I can tell you: study!
In order to get an IMO gold medal, you have to study as much as possible, that’s not easy. You live in China so your aim will be much more difficult than others…

I think it’s harder getting into Chinese IMO team rather than wining a gold medal at IMO.
So, just work hard on Chinese-style (often ugly?) problems, and “you might” get in when you’ll be about 17-18. But don’t forget to DO OTHER THINGS BESIDES MATH AND ACADEMICS!

It’s right.Chinese students are competitive,i learn about almost everyone can get a gold medal in Chinese team.It seems hard to me.Anyway,i will try
