International Students

I’m an international student who does the British Curriculum(in Ghana, though) and I’ve been looking at the Harvard Reader’s Applicant Guide ever since it came out and it’s been quite interesting to see how they go through their admissions process. I concluded that Yale probably goes through a very similar process, and I’m wondering if they really just look at IGCSE and Predicted A Level grades as well as ACTs/SATs when making the academic rating.

It’s probably a safe assumption given that schools following the British curriculum put more emphasis on predicted grades and therefore, the teachers have historically been more accurate with these predictions.

thanks, now I was wondering if a 34 superscore from 31C and 32C would be put in the same bandwidth as 33+ scores even though Yale doesn’t superscore ACT but look at highest individual subsections.

No. The AO first consider the composite, then look at the subscores. But the compostie number is more important.

That said, scores are just one part of the application package.
