Any international students applying/gotten into Bucknell and planning to join?

I know that someone in my school got in. I think he is going. I think his name was Mohammad Ali Imran. Oh yeah, he’s from Bangladesh

Hello everyone,

My name is Palwasha Siddiqi, I am from Afghanistan, and I am a current first year student at Bucknell. I work in Admissions of Bucknell University as a student assistant. I can help you by answering your questions related to Bucknell. Please do not hesitate to ask for any kind of information about Bucknell. I will try my best to help you at the best level.
Thank you,
Palwasha

Well, hi Palwasha! If you went through some of the other threads you would know that I am waitlisted at Bucknell. As you do work in the Admissions office can you please help me out with any kind of information.

We won’t know the number of available seats until May 1st. If there are available seats left then we go to the waitlist and admit students from that list. Also some of the accepted students withdraw and we get available seats. In that case too we first refer to the waitlisted students. I hope the given information has replied your questions.

Hi Palwasha!
I have accepted to attend Bucknell and am very excited! Is the locality of Bucknell (due to its rurality) an issue for going from place to place (shops, restaurant, etc) or does the university have shuttle buses or any such arrangement?

Hello,
You have definitely made one of the best decisions of your life to come to Bucknell. It is such a great school. I love it sooo much.
The university have shuttles to Walmart, Weis, and Susquehanna Mall every week, which is the best. We have a lot of nice restuarants downtown which is 10 minutes away from campus so you can walk there.

Just wondering If an international student get off the waitlist, would he/she still be qulified for merit scholarship?
