International Transfer: Accepted, but what took you so long?

<p>GPA: 3.22 with 27 credits</p>

<p>Past extracurricular: 2 years in the conscript Army</p>

<p>I only just received this notification that I was accepted on June 9, but I was ignored systematically by the Admissions department (calls to them met a stonewall, etc) ever since I submitted the application on March 28. Goucher College responded to my application within 4-5 days of receiving my application + documents and accepted me right away. Goucher also made me feel more valued by throwing an annual $8,500 merit scholarship into the mix.</p>

<p>Alas, I’m headed off to Goucher. Enjoy yourselves, Buckeyes. :)</p>

<p>I received an email on the 9th from UPS to track my “package” from OSU. How did they notify you whether you were accpeted or not? Was it by e-mail or did they change the application status online?</p>

<p>I received the email from UPS too, and then I checked the App Status page to see that my status was changed to “Accepted”. But alas, it was just too late. Maybe if they didn’t drag their feet, my decision would’ve been really different.</p>
