International Transfer Help!!!

I am applying for several Big Universities and I need a generous Financial aid package.
I can’t afford it if they only cover my tuition. If I do get admitted without full aid my Mom will probably sell the house and my family will be living on the street.(I know this may happen)
Does it help if I tell the admission office-Just reject me if you can not meet my Financial need!

Well first of all, what country are you applying from? Only the big uni’s will cover full financial aid like Havard, Yale, etc. When you receive your offer they usually include the financial aid package they are willing to offer you. Once you receive this though, it always possible to call the financial aid office and dicuss this with them (it is possible to get more financial aid! I know people who have done this). But while you are applying you should also apply for other scholarships.

i know some schools such as JHU, NYU and etc wont give u fin package for international transfer

Dont tell them to reject u, just reject them! Making it sound too desperate may be counter-effective. Btw, r u doing a degree in ur home country? Why do u want to transfer? Why don’t u just finish ur degree there and apply for post-grads where u can find generous FinAid?

Thanks guys, I really appreciate that
I have to support my family after college so no Grad school for me~(not till 201x)
I am apply to Harvard , Yale and CU hopefully

I dont want my family to see the admission letter because they will definitely try to fund me.

Good luck with all of this. I am going to apply to Syracuse (your way out of your league!), but the 30,000 (rounded up a bit) is just daunting, and quite frankley it’s really disenchanting. I’m broke, my family are semi broke, Syracuse won’t give me money (I’m assuming that), so I’m really considering SUNY-Albany. Best of luck to you man!
