internationals at UofC

UofC isn’t a state school is it? if so is acceptance rates for international students a lot lower like at a school like UCB or UCLA(3-4% intl. accp. rate, I think)

Nope, U of C is a private school.

There is a University of Illinois- Chicago (simlar name much?) and a Chicago State U. Both of those are public. UIC is on the near west side with easy access to Greek Town and Little Italy; Chicago State is further south than the U of C.

The deal with being and international that’s significant is whether or not you need FA. Chicago is not need-blind towards internationals, so need for aid factors into the admissions decision. If you can afford the school, then I imagine your “chances” are the same as any domestic student.
