<p>I want to take a Language that is not in my school. If I take something on the Internet would colleges like not count it?
What are some websites that have Korean or Chinese?
I live in NC if that matters. I could not find a 2 year school that has it so I cant go to a College to take it.</p>
<p>I don’t think colleges would care if you took an online class, though if the teaching was substandard you may not place as well as you could on a foreign language placement test in college. I would think learning a foreign language over the Internet would be hard, wouldn’t it? But I’m sure if you’re dedicated and interested in the class you would have no problems.</p>
<p>If anything, going out of your way to take a class online shows you are really passionate about your education. And if your school will put the online class on your transcript, the college may not even know the difference. ;)</p>
