Internet crashed while I was applying

Hello,

I was applying to a competitive tech firm in Seattle for a Summer Internship, and in the middle of filling out the form, my Internet crashed, so I restarted both my Internet and my computer. When I came back on, the employer marked my application as “Submitted - under review.” I didn’t even finish filling out the form, nor had I submitted the application.

I then withdrew my application with the reason “Incomplete application,” because all they had was my resume and none of the questions answered.

Should I resubmit, even though on record I had already “submitted” even though it wasn’t actually a filled-out application?

Of course you should. I’m sure anyone will understand a glitch in technology!

Will it count against me? Should I let them know what actually went wrong? I feel “incomplete application” is very vague (their text field only had so much room).

If they ask me if I had applied before, should I say yes?

definitely resubmit.

if they asked if you applied before, just say that “the first time I was filling out the forms my internet died, so I had to start over” or something.
