<p>I recently got an email from NYU prompting me to view my financial aid letter online. Did anyone receive their financial aid award letter in the mail? Or is NYU going online mode only this year?</p>
<p>I’ve gotten a bunch of promotional stuff in the mail along with the purple packet and the car decal, but no financial aid letters.</p>
<p>I believe they give email notifications as soon as information is available, and a paper copy follows in due course. At least this way you get to know sooner and can wait for the physical notification to come at its own pace.</p>
<p>Hmmm, interesting. I’ve talked to a few other people and they said that they only received them by internet. I still haven’t gotten the mail version yet! </p>
<p>I wonder if that’s true for everyone?</p>
<p>They may be moving to a completely paper-less model. NYU is all about sustainability and all things green right now, I wouldn’t be surprised at all.</p>
