Since I never actually ever gotten an internship before, I’m just curious that if I apply to an internship online, how long do I have to wait for a reply if I’m a suitable candidate? In other words, at what point do I basically say “oh I didn’t get this internship” since a lot of the big companies don’t send rejection letters. The areas I’m interested in are software engineer and data scientists.

Some companies I’m interested are:

Google, Amazon, EA, MIT Lincoln Labs, NASA JPL, etc

It varies. You shouldn’t stop applying to places until you get an offer.

I already applied to like over 50 places tho =/

So…what? Do you just want to wait to hear from all of those places before you apply more? I got internship rejection emails in July, months after I would have started the job. If you wait to apply it’ll just get harder to find something.
