internship avaliability// private v. public

how accessible are internships at cal if you look for them?
i am choosing between a private and berkeley and the main thing holding me back is the enormous class sizes at cal, thus the competitions for internships and future jobs and such. however i still dont know if the price of a private is worth jsut those extra opportunities

Me too! For me, its nyu stern vs cal. I would like to know the internship availability for haas specifically so bummmp! :)

stern v. cal for me as well! how strange

how easy is it to get engineering internships, especially bioengineering?

Personally, from what I’ve seen, I think privates have the upper hand, especially with the strong alumni connection. If you’re a bioengineering major, though, Berkeley may be a better choice since many firms will probably recognize it as a school with one of the best engineering depts. =]

There’s an internship fair specifically for BioE at Cal =)
