Internship or short term courses

Hi… I am a college sophomore from India… I am doing engineering in Applied electronics and instrumentation…However i want to change my major and pursue a masters degree in Computer science from the US.
What will be more favourable with the adcom??? A couple of summer internships(instrumentation)…or a couple of short term(2-3 months) Computer courses( Any language c++,java, visual basic etc) to show them that i am really interested in this field!

Thanks

Bumpp…A little help guyz!!!

Internships (especially if it involves research)

Technology-based computer classes won’t make much difference. At bare minimum, you should have taken at least a college-level course in programming, operating system, data structure and/or algorithm, which are often the prerequisite for your graduate courses.

If those are not offered in your college, overpower your resume with the good internship experience but prepare to spend an extra semester taking the prerequiste classes.
