Internship Summer After Sophomore Year

<p>I am currently a sophomore student in Top-15 Business School. Decent Extracurriculars, High GPA(3.8+). What type of internships are normally available during the summer following the sophomore year? It seems as though most are set-up for those entering their senior year. I am interested in Economics/Finance and possibly accounting.</p>

<p>Would a Co-Op in the Fall at a company like Johnson&Johnson(Financial Accounting) provide more valuable experience than a summer internship at a lesser known company? Thanks.</p>

<p>I’m in the same boat as you, just not in a top-15 b-school. I do know a Co-Op is where you intern at the company for back to back summers. I would rather intern at different places!</p>
