<p>Nothing against people who hold these opinions, but why would you volunteer your time helping people you don’t agree with get a message you don’t approve of out to a mass number of people and “…organize many actions, including forums, film screenings, protests and other activities.”</p>

<p>Sure it’s interesting, but again, why?</p>

<p>Yeah I concur- it’s like joining a club just for the benefits it gives you, not because you truly believe in it (Best Buddies International being an example. I hate those kids who join just because “it looks good for college.”)</p>

<p>Interesting, maybe, but you really wouldn’t want that on your resume since you’re applying to a service academy. Helping anti-war protestors definitely wouldn’t help your file.</p>

<p>and today we had a rally to free the border agents in Los Angeles today, and of coarse ANSWER waived their red flags.</p>

<p>But you can learn those skills in any number of places. Internships everywhere teach you the skills you’re thinking of, why would you learn them in an environment that you disagree with?</p>

<p>Also, I’m not quite sure what you mean about ANSWER waiving red flags regarding border agents. Could you explain more clearly?</p>

<p>Russki, they were counter protesting us and some of the goons brought red flags. </p>

<p>Get an internship with your local congress(wo)man, a more IMPRESSIVE option if that’s what you’re angling for. </p>

<p>You’re better off not having an internship if you can’t find one that is agreeable with your own personal beliefs. You need to show distinctive character and continuity as such.</p>
