<p>If you know any good programs still open, please throw them out. </p>
<p>I’m a sophomore female with decent grades (top 10 percent), 214 on PSAT, and an interest in several academic fields, so I won’t narrow this down to only “math”, “science”, or “humanities” since I’m interested in all 3 :). Affordable programs are <em>preferred</em> but tell me anything you know of since the field is very slim… </p>
<p>Anyway, I feel stupid for starting this search so late- I’m probably going to end up just working over the summer, and I guess I’m fine with that since I need money, but I also want to have some fun… </p>
<p>Boston University’s research internship and MSU’s HSHSP are still open, though their deadlines are approaching fast. Carleton College also has a research-oriented program, but it’s new and isn’t nearly as well established as other programs (and is only 3 weeks). All science programs: I’m not familiar with math or humanities programs.</p>
<p>Alternatively, you could try poking a researcher or prof. at a nearby college or university and see if they’d be willing to take you in. Perhaps check with a biotech or science company about interning. You might not be able to do original research, but it’s better than nothing.</p>
