I live in a place where everything needs a car.

And well, I’m too young to drive and my parents dislikes the fact that “I’m spending time shelving books when I could have been studying for SATs”. So I have about zero hours of volunteer work.

But next year, I will be interning at my state university for a Biomed program. And it’s a 7 week course with 40hrs/wee. Later on in the summer, I’ll be working at a High School that focuses on Biomed

Does that give me a good chance to be accepted to Columbia if all others are well off (Like SAT scores are good… blah blah blah)
