<p>There are branch offices H&R Block, Edward Jones Investments, MorganStanley and multiple branches of Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Washington Mutual within a 5-mile radius of my house, and I want to arrange an internship at one of those as I’m really interested in working in the financial services…anyone know how to go about arranging an internship/getting a job at one of those offices? Do you just like send them a cover letter and resume explaining your love and respect for each firm and ask for an interview?</p>

<p>Cold call, through your college career services, alumni events (with high school), or any friends. Aim for MS and Banc of America Securities, but forget Washington Mutual.</p>
