Interracial dating and relationships

At least everyone seems to be in agreement :)

I don’t even notice it. I’m white; my boyfriend is Indian. I didn’t even stop to think of race or how anyone else would view it. Until his parents noticed that is…

Google searches for black guy asian girl disappoint me. Inherent racism everywhere.

^Oh, dear.

@romanigypsyeyes I can relate, I’m consider myself Hispanic. But, people think I’m American by the way I look. Especially when they speak Spanish and its an insult to me. I talk to them in Spanish and they are surprised. The media makes it seem like Hispanics look one way, when in fact, they can be of any race.

Wasn’t there a really long thread on this some time ago?

Anyway, why do you care what our opinions are? Just do what you like.

Not into black chicks/Indian chicks

Rest are good.

Yes I approve…

Or who you like.

LOVE white guys. So so hot.

@MIThopeful16: Asian people severely dislike dating Black people (not being racist, just my observations). I am Korean and I notice this a lot. I’m not exactly sure where the hatred stems from. However, from my personal experience asians feel uncomfortable around Black people. A lot of them believe Black people to be shifty and criminal-like.

Occasionally you see whitewashed asian girls dating white guys, but rarely any other race. We asians, especially Koreans, tend to date within the race. It is a cultural thing. We are more comfortable talking about ourselves with asians people who have experienced similar things.

Again, not being racist, thats just what I’ve witnessed as a korean-american growing up in the states.

Just like some other people in the thread said I have never been physically attracted to a black chick who didn’t have another race mixed in there.

Asians, whites, and novela looking latinas are good for me :]

Preferences? I don’t know, but the guys I’m attracted to are Asian or white. The guys that I know have almost all been Asian or white, so that may be why. But there’s always exceptions aren’t there?

And I think if people want to date interracially, that’s good for them. Broadening their horizons and bringing unity.

Just thought I’d point out that a good deal of black females actually do have “another race mixed in there.”

^^^^ So, media hype in my opinion.

I used to think most Spanish people have rather Arabic appearances. LOL

^^^ Most black people in the US have at least 25% European lineage.

^The three “^” means she was replying to the post 3 posts up.

^^^ There’s a reason for that. Spain used to be controlled by the Moors.

Hispanics are the same stock, mixed with Native American.

Why not make it…

 1. If you want to be open-minded, then go ahead.
 2. If you want to do what you’re comfortable with, that’s fine.
 3. If you want to hate on races/ethnicities, shut up.

I prefer guys in my own race (East Asian) but some white guys are fine too.

Yes I approve. Not my business who other people date.

That’s actually true! Spainish people/Latinos and Middle Eastern people look very similar–since I suppose they’re both of mediterranean descent. Many of my arab family members look latino if you didn’t know they were arab.

I don’t really have preferences since I don’t judge on others race or national origin…but I typically prefer middle eastern guys. Next would be any muslim guy. Besides that I would want a guy that’s compatible…as in nice, smart, funny, good looking, and ISNT a jerk.
