Interview at Panera attire: Suit or sweater with button up and khakis?

Should I wear a suit or a sweater with a button-up and nice khakis?

I know its been asked many times before but I am divided due to the circumstance. My interviewer is President of multiple companies and the interview is at Panera. I feel a suit would be more appropriate for the person I am interviewing with, but the other option for attire is more appropriate for the setting. I am a serious candidate as well. Let me know! Thanks!

IMO suit is overkill.

I guarantee you that no one will be in a suit at Panera bread. You dress for the occasion & locale.

The suit is really not necessary, or even appropriate for a high school student. A nice sweater and button down is perfect. Good luck!

I have no idea if you’re a female or male so:

Male - A collared shirt, khakis, and sperries (or similar shoes) would be just fine.

Female- A nice blouse and khakis, or a pencil skirt, and flats would be just fine.

Good luck!
