<p>I would follow the school’s dress code, which you should be able to find on Choate’s website. We found it easiest to declare certain clothes “interview outfits,” and to make an effort to keep them clean and ready-to-go. In general, boys wore jackets, ties, and khakis. Girls wore blouses and skirts, dresses, or blouses and “nice” slacks.</p>
<p>Good luck–I still remember the fight over the appropriate attire for college interviews I had with my mother decades ago.</p>

<p>One further suggestion: Most visits will include a tour. It’s winter. Choose shoes (or boots) which will allow you to walk over hill and dale for an hour.</p>
