<p>What should/can you expect from your interview? How much of your interviewer’s enthusiasm can you seem sincere, and how much of it can deem ‘good marketting and positive’.</p>
<p>It seems like I had exceptional interviews at both Exeter and Andover, but I realize these people are professionals and know they’re dealing with kids, so they wouldn’t dare say “Go home kid, you have no chance.”, lol.</p>
<p>I didn’t enjoy my SPS interview. It went fine, but not great like the others. I didn’t like my interviewer, he was standoff-ish and elitist, and seemed immediately disinterested in me as soon as heard I didn’t play for sports at a varsity level. The others developed into stimulating conversations, and it felt that SPS was just reading off a sheet.</p>
<p>What are some of your experiences? And to what extent is praise generic, and to the other end - truly sincere?</p>
<p>I’ve taken my SPS interview, it went great actually…but I’m on 3 varsity sports teams and that started the conversation. Then it lead on to more important things, but ya it is sort of just read off the sheet and fill in the blanks.</p>
<p>Same with my SPS interviewer haha, he was totally this sports guy who seemed only somewhat interested when I told him I played soccer and stuff. The interview ended up more like a Q and A instead of a conversation. My other ones were pretty good though, it seemed to me that it was a lot easier to speak to a women interviewer than a male.</p>

my sps interviewer from last year was also extremely standoffish.
he gave off this vibe of “Why am i talking to you?”
it was somewhat frustrarating.</p>
