<p>How important is it to have an interview during the application process. Does the admission committee hold it against you if you don’t?</p>
<p>I got a call from an alum, and they left a message. Apparently my mom never told me about the message (oh well…), and I only heard it while cleaning out the inbox - 5 months later after I had already been accepted.</p>
<p>You’d have to ask the admissions office how heavily they really do look at demonstrated interest- but that’s really not that difficult. All you have to do is just ask your adcom questions (via through them coming to your school, an in-town meeting, email, etc).</p>
